Case Study: Defining Limiting Factors

Climate

The climate created the largest set of limiting factors: precipitation was less than 12 inches a year at the lower elevations, snow pack lasted into the late spring at the higher elevations, and humidity levels were low during most of the year. These factors combined to make revegetation difficult.

By defining the limiting factors on the Sunriver to Bachelor Highway, we were able to begin developing a revegetation plan.
