Canyonville Trail Highway

The large fill slope created during the construction of the Canyonville Trail Highway in southern Oregon is a good example how species and stocktypes were selected. On this slope, a combination of stocktypes—seeds, cuttings, and seedlings—were used to establish a variety of species.
