Grass Seed

The short term objective for the fill slope was to stabilize the site with grasses applied as seed. We selected Elymus glaucus, a workhorse species, as the primary grass species because it was dependable, established quickly, formed a good cover for erosion control, and grew in similar environments as the road fill.
